Hey there, how are you? I hope you are feeling and rising with the full on energies at play so far this month. There is no better time to step up and out and commit to yourself completely. It's not as easy as it sounds, I know. It sure isn't as easy as it looks.
This week has been a massive week here at Gutsy Girl HQ. A whirlwind launch of Gutsy Gift Boxes while battling with a 4 day migraine (and the start of my first round Desire Map Virtual workshop). I'm not a big believer in pushing through a debilitating physical pain, but I was not going to be stopped by it when I had a commitment to launch.
The high of the 1 November Wellbeing Retreat where I did my first guest speaking event talking all things Empath, Highly Sensitive, feelings, goals and the glass ceiling plus conversations around forgiveness, boundaries, self-worth and energetic depletion - wowee! I can't believe that it all kicked off on a 11 Master Day!! The time to act is now. Make your new beginning. Now. Don't wait.
So this brings me into today. I just got home from Utopia Women's Wellness and whilst it is not my standard practice to write a blog post the minute I walk in the door, I was compelled to. This was too good not to share.
Today was powerful. Excuse me, I mean POWERFUL. We are all on our own adventures to come home to ourselves, we are all at different stages and for me today was a reminder that because I am doing what I feel guided to do, what feels right in my body and where fear meets courage, I am right where I need to be. I am doing things I am fiercely passionate about and I am not alone in this. I feel a sense of oneness today. We are all connected. Now that's not a revelation to me, I know this. But today, I FELT it.
Connection means so much to me, it is, after all, a word that guides me. Today I connected with people I know, new people I just met, I met people I connect with online for the first time and I started conversations too.
A day of connection does not end, not when there was so much learned to be shared and passed on.
I'm going to share with you a few big takeaways.
I've been an avid reader of Collective Magazine so I was thrilled to see Lisa Messenger speak about 'Anything is Possible'. I was already convinced about this. I'm a possibilitarian.
Now, my takeaways consist of moments where I had a-ha moments, but also moments where I had my feelings confirmed. I say feelings because I'm striving to be guided by those every day, and put my thoughts aside.
My notes are short, sharp and to the point. I leave it to you to determine what is. I feel therefore I am, that's my mantra for this share. I could gush about the speakers and tell you what I liked, what resonated, what hit home, their style, the way they communicate, their generosity, but that's my viewpoint, my perceptions and I think there is enough opinions so, I simply hope you enjoy the lessons I've shared below, taken straight from my notes.
Life Lessons to Live By
Lisa Messenger: Anything Is Possible
Your why, your purpose. Alignment between values and beliefs.
Detachment from the outcome.
Take people with you on your journey.
Don't be constrained by what can't be done.
Cash isn't the only currency.
What's the best use of your time?
Value your work. Your work is valuable. Your time is valuable. It's an energy exchange to charge for it.
Be okay with outsourcing the things you aren't good at.
Make conscious choices.
Jamie Gonzalez: Limitless Living
Know yourself outside your identity.
Bring your being-ness into your doing.
Nothing is missing. There is nothing you lack.
Slow down, stop.
When's enough, enough?
When the feeling finds you, it's done.
You aren't separate to what is. Your power is limited if you think you are separate.
Only you can walk your path. No one's path is the same.
Know yourself as love.
Don't let anyone affect your dream.
You gotta risk it for the biscuit.
You are the only person who can get you there.
I will say this one thing about Tara, I did not take many notes. As I already know Tara from our business interactions, I have the benefit of connecting with her regularly, I just wanted to listen and absorb everything she said.
One note I did write from Tara's talk is: Think of compassion as a space.
Check out a recent video of hers which I love.
